Virtual Shopping With Friends: Inside the Aderlo Gallery London
To shop virtually with friends in Aderlo City, each of you opens mvp.aderlo.city in a browser, signs in with an Aderlo account and picks the United Kingdom on the map of Europe. You land by the Thames, find each other on the minimap and can start a one-to-one voice chat. Nothing to install, no headset.

Key takeaways
- Getting in takes a browser and a free Aderlo account — no app, no VR headset.
- Other visitors appear on the minimap; walk up to someone to message them or invite them to a one-to-one voice chat.
- The London gallery is open for walking and meeting up; its shops open with aderlo.co.uk, due to launch on 1 November 2026.
- Today, purchases run through the Warsaw gallery, priced in PLN and delivered within Poland by Aderlo.
- When UK shops open, you will have the usual online rights: 14 days to cancel after delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Shopping with a friend online usually means a group chat full of links: “this one?”, “no, the other colour”, “which size did you get?”. It works, but it is nothing like an afternoon at the shops together. A 3D gallery in the browser closes part of that gap: you walk the same shops at the same time, see each other as avatars and talk while you browse.
This guide walks you through the Aderlo Gallery in London as it works in the Aderlo City MVP in October 2026 — how to get in, how to meet up, how to talk, what you can see and what you can buy today. I build this gallery, so I will be precise about what is live and what is still “coming soon”. For the background — what a virtual mall is and why it needs no headset — start with What Is a 3D Virtual Mall?
Can you shop online with friends at the same time?
Yes — in a shared 3D space, you and your friends are in the same shop at the same moment, not just sending each other links. The idea is not new, but the form has changed.
In November 2021 Charlotte Tilbury added a “Shop With Friends” option to its virtual store, built on the Obsess platform. According to Glossy, it let customers add up to four people to a video chat while browsing, with friends invited through a shared link. The brand added it after noticing that customers were already visiting the virtual store during Zoom calls with friends.
That is the right instinct. Friends still matter in how Britons decide what to buy: in a YouGov poll on social media shopping (1,000 UK adults, March 2025), recommendations from friends or family were named as a factor in purchase decisions by 24% — behind discounts (49%) and reviews. Bringing those friends into the shop, rather than into a separate chat, is the point of shopping together in 3D.

How do you get into the Aderlo Gallery in London?
Open mvp.aderlo.city, sign in with your Aderlo account, choose an avatar and pick the United Kingdom on the map of Europe. There is nothing to download.
- Go to mvp.aderlo.city in an up-to-date browser on a computer or phone.
- Sign in with your Aderlo account. If you do not have one, create it for free at aderlo.pl — one account works for the shop and the city.
- Choose your avatar from 12 ready-made characters (six women, six men). Your choice is saved to your account.
- On the map of Europe, select the United Kingdom.
- After a short flight you land on the square in front of the gallery.
The first visit takes longer than the next ones, because your browser downloads the city — buildings, textures, characters. After that, part of it stays in the browser’s memory. If you are on a phone, do the first visit over Wi-Fi.

What is in the London gallery today?
The London gallery stands on the Thames, with Tower Bridge, the London Eye and Big Ben on the skyline. You can walk it, meet people and explore the floors; its shops open together with aderlo.co.uk.
The building follows the same layout as our gallery in Warsaw: a concourse with a fountain, two round atriums, escalators and a glass lift (buttons 0 to 4, with 4 for the roof terrace). When you step inside, a short welcome plays in English, and the information desk on the ground floor greets you as you walk up to it.
The shop units themselves are waiting for the UK catalogue. Aderlo is launching its UK marketplace at aderlo.co.uk — the countdown page names 1 November 2026, midnight UK time, and promises cashback on every order. The London shops will open together with it, priced in pounds. Until then, London is the place to walk, meet up and get a feel for the city.
If you want to see a gallery that already sells, go back to the map through the portal by the main entrance and fly to Warsaw. There, the shops on the first and second floors carry real Aderlo products, and the third floor has the premium fashion showroom.
How do you meet up with friends in the gallery?
Agree on a country and a meeting point, sign in on your own accounts, and use the minimap to find each other. Then walk up to your friend to message them or start a voice chat.
- Each of you signs in at mvp.aderlo.city with your own Aderlo account.
- Pick the same country on the map — the United Kingdom for London.
- Agree on a landmark: the square outside the entrance, or the fountain by the information desk.
- Open the minimap. It shows the floor plan, your position and other visitors.
- Walk up to your friend. A prompt offers two options: send a message or start a voice chat.
- Your friend accepts the invitation and you talk while you walk. You can mute yourself or end the call at any time.
Voice chat runs inside the browser using WebRTC, the web standard for real-time audio and video, so there is no extra app. Your browser will ask for permission to use the microphone. Calls are relayed through our own servers when needed, so they also work on networks that block direct connections, such as many office networks.
Three honest limits worth knowing:
- Voice chat is one-to-one for now. A group of three or four can walk together and see each other, but group calls are planned — coming soon. So is a “join me” link that drops a friend straight next to you.
- Not everyone you see is a person. The concourse also has passers-by controlled by the computer, to make the space feel alive. Real visitors are the ones on the minimap.
- The premium showroom is a solo visit. Each visitor sees their own copy of it (more on that below), so you meet up again back in the gallery.
How do you get around without getting lost?
Use the store directory, guidance arrows and quick travel, and click the floor to walk. You do not need to know the building to reach a shop.
- Walking and running. Avatars walk at about 2 m/s and run at about 4.6 m/s; crossing the whole concourse (about 140 m) takes a little over a minute on foot.
- Click to walk. In mouse-control mode, click the floor and your avatar walks there on its own.
- Information desk. Between the fountain and the escalators on the ground floor. Press E at the desk for the full directory with search, a guidance button that draws an arrow to the unit, and a chat or voice conversation with the receptionist, Sofia, who is an AI assistant.
- Quick travel. Pick a unit in the store directory and jump straight to its entrance instead of walking.
- Escalators and lift. Escalators take about 13 seconds per floor; the glass lift goes to every level including the roof.
- First-person view. Press V to switch between the view behind your avatar and through its eyes.

What is the premium showroom like?
It is a fashion boutique on the third floor of the Warsaw gallery, shown in photorealistic quality and streamed from our servers to your browser. You walk through its doors as the same avatar and shop straight from the displays.
The rest of the gallery is drawn by your own device. The showroom is different: the image is rendered on our servers and streamed to you, which is why light, fabrics and reflections look closer to a photograph even on an ordinary laptop. In practice it works as a virtual showroom inside the mall.

Walk up to a mannequin, rail, shelf or table and the items within view get an outline. Press F to see the collection, and a list of products from that display opens: coats, dresses, blazers, knitwear, trainers or handbags. From there it is the same product card, basket and checkout as in the gallery.
Each visitor gets their own copy of the showroom, and every copy needs a server with a graphics card. That keeps the image sharp, but it also means a limited number of places at once — at busy times the door may take a moment. Today the showroom sells the Warsaw gallery’s range, with delivery within Poland.
How does buying work, and who fulfils the order?
You buy from a product card inside the gallery; the order goes to Aderlo, the same retailer as the aderlo.pl online shop. The gallery changes how you browse, not how the parcel reaches you.
- Click a product on display, or press F when it is highlighted.
- The product card shows photos, a description, the price, sizes with stock and a size chart.
- Choose a size or variant and add it to your basket.
- At checkout, enter your details and choose courier delivery or an InPost parcel locker.
- You see the delivery cost and the total before you confirm, then pay online in a payment window that opens over the gallery.
| Today (Warsaw gallery) | When the London shops open | |
|---|---|---|
| Retailer | Aderlo PSA, the company behind aderlo.pl | Aderlo, through aderlo.co.uk |
| Currency | PLN, including VAT | GBP |
| Delivery | within Poland: courier or parcel locker | UK delivery |
| Cancellation | 14 days after delivery (Polish consumer law) | 14 days after delivery (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) |
| Account | your Aderlo account | your Aderlo account |
So if you live in the UK and want something delivered here, wait for the London shops. If you are shopping for family in Poland, the Warsaw gallery already works — the aderlo.pl terms state delivery within Poland, usually in 1 to 14 working days after payment is confirmed.
For UK purchases the rules will be those of any online order. Under regulation 30 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the cancellation period for goods ends 14 days after the day they come into your physical possession. GOV.UK’s guidance for sellers puts it the same way: customers can cancel up to 14 days after delivery, without giving a reason. There are exceptions, such as made-to-order items. This is general information, not legal advice for your case.
What works today, and what is coming soon?

This is one small, working slice of what is often called immersive commerce: a shop you step into rather than scroll through.
A first walk to try with a friend
Pick a time, both sign in, and meet on the square in London with Tower Bridge behind you. Start a voice chat, walk to the information desk and ask Sofia where to go, ride the escalators to the roof terrace, then fly to Warsaw together and take a look at the premium showroom. Ten minutes is enough to tell whether shopping side by side, rather than link by link, suits you.
Questions and answers
- Can you shop online with friends at the same time?
- Yes. In a 3D gallery such as Aderlo City you and your friends walk the same shops at the same time as avatars. Each of you signs in with your own account, and you can talk through a one-to-one voice chat in the browser.
- Do my friends need an account to join me?
- Yes. Everyone signs in with their own free Aderlo account, created at aderlo.pl. There is no separate account for the gallery.
- Can I buy things in the London gallery now?
- Not yet. The London gallery is open for walking and meeting up; its shops open together with aderlo.co.uk, which its own page says launches on 1 November 2026. Today, orders are placed in the Warsaw gallery and delivered within Poland.
- Can more than two people talk at once?
- Not yet. Voice chat is one-to-one today; group conversations are planned. A group can still walk together — everyone sees everyone else on the minimap.
- What are my rights if I buy in a virtual mall in the UK?
- A purchase in a 3D gallery is an online, distance contract. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can usually cancel within 14 days after the goods are delivered, with some exceptions such as made-to-order items.
